    New here, sort of . . .

New here, but long time fan of the Mazda/Ford joint ventures in small cars. I recently acquired from my little brother, a 1994 Tracer LTS for $1000, that he bought from the original "little old lady" owner. The teal green paint is like near new, as is the whole car cosmetically, inside and out, as it was garaged it's entire life.
But being 26 years old it does have a few issues. Left front control arm bushings are shot/gone, as it makes a loud "pop" during bad bumps, so new front control arms are on the list.
A bad motor/tranny mount somewhere, the whole car shudders at idle unless in "Park." (Yeah, it is an automatic, but the little 1.8L Mazda still pulls great, even barks the tires on the 1-2 upshift!)

My main concern is, are there differences in control arms between LTS/ non LTS suspension parts, I.E. bushings, etc? The suspension is likely tired anyway, and new sway bar bushings wouldn't hurt while I'm getting dirty. And the fuel tank reads "Full" no matter the tank level, so any common troubles there I should persue?

Thanks in advance from a long time autocrosser (1991 Escort GT, 1996 Protege, 2002 Protege, 2001 Protege5, 1989 Miata MX-5)

Control arms are the same LTS/non LTS
pull the fuel pump under the rear seat & inspect the sender level assembly. it may be damaged. or it may be stuck in one position
