Evil is right. The two thick wires will be Black/yellow and ( if I remember correctly) Black/ red. If you temporarily bridge the other two your reverse lights should come on.

I bridged the two thick wires and woot! The starter clicked and fuel came from the line! Now I just have to figure out why the starter pops out but won't turn. Progress! thanks for the help.

And the passenger side axle will be in tomorrow as well.

check that you have all the earths connected properly and make sure your starter motor connections are on (thick black wire) that wire makes the starter motor turn, the thin wire(black/red) is the starter solenoid and makes it kick in

I'll see if I can scan some engine management diagrams at work for you....if our scanner does A3 paper!! Pin nos. on the ECU are likely to be the same. Try http://images.geekazoids.net/ecu_pinouts1.jpg and same with pinouts2.jpg Wire colours might not ness. be the same and be careful whether it is the wire or pin side of the plug that your are looking at. Hope this helps.

That would help a lot. Thanks.

I would love to fire it up but I need a half shaft too.

I'm hoping to remove the motor/trans from the mx3 this weekend so I can get that braket for you and if you can verify the half shaft is for sure 100% the same between the mx6 and mx3 I can sell you that as well
