    basically. the wheel hubs changed between 89 and 90 so the mx3 GS axles dont fit.

      Hey so your no longer living in Riverside, CA or was that just put on the Superstreet mag for fun. If I go to pick up that hatch then I can swing over on the way out.

          woot! its in! and it works wonderfully. i got some cool stickers out of it too. lol







          size comparision off my cell phone. its pretty beefy. the CV ends are enormous compared to stock.

              So I guess i'm confused, it's the pass side that's the issue?
              1993 Mercury Tracer, KLDE VItara build swap, Compound turbos, 12 injectors, 2 wastegates, 2 Megasquirts, 2 axles, 2 everything, why not

                yep. a stock mx3 GS axle is about 2 inches too long. you can get away with using a BP kia sephia axle on the driver side. it works, but does vibrate occasionally.

                        Keep an eye on those boots, if they rip repack them with grease and put a new boot on right away. If you do that theoretically that axle should last forever.

                                i didnt even measure it. i was too excited to just put it. lol

                                im going to estimate about 22 1/2 inches. it was just a hair longer than my welded one which was 22 inches.
