So, my youngest son is graduating from high school this week. For part of the year, I let him drive my GT to school when one car was in the shop and we sort of rotated rides. I look in his yearbook that he got at the end of last week and they even have a section (page) on the "cool" cars that students have been driving. My car is in the yearbook!!!! Woot! LOL I'll try to take a pic of it and show you guys.

Totally forgot! Thanks for reminding me. Right now I'm actually in Pullman, Washington staying at my oldest son's apartment (he's a senior) after having driven my youngest (he's a freshman this year) to the fraternity he just pledged this summer. Wow... Susan and I are now "empty-nesters".... wahoo! LOL
Anyway, when I get back into town, I'll work on getting the pic posted.

Just go back tonight. Mad it from Pullman to Bothell in 4.5 hours! Grand Caravan.... not my car. Too much stuff to haul over there to take my car. I'm probably going over for at least two football games, so one of those times, I'll go in my car.
Hope to see you Saturday. Now that I'm home, I'll try to get that picture posted of my car in the high school yearbook! LOL

Making slow progress.....
Here's my car as I put it in the garage to start the turbo swap.
Here's the engine before I start wrenching.
Here's the work I did on the replacement exhaust manifold to get rid of the bar.
Here's the engine bay before I start putting the new set-up on.
Here's the new set-up. Not really because this was the total VJ-11 set-up. I went with the hybrid but I thought I'd throw this pic up anyway. I'm selling that exhaust elbow and some other VJ-11 parts. The red pain is 2000 degree ceramic paint that I had to bake on.
I'll post more pics later. Right now I'm trying to get my intake piping back on but I'm changing a few things which is slowing me down. Also got a triple gauge pod for the A-pillar because I'm going to add an air-fuel ratio gauge.
Also, got a new oxygen sensor, new hoses, new gaskets, etc. I might try to move my oil cooler, too.

so... you welded up the O2 sensor bung in the manifold am i seeing that correct??
i think you should external gate that
the turbo looks good. it should be a nice pickup compared to the VJ14---Has ClubProtege helped you in someway? show your support by Contributing--- Click Here---
