Cool project! I have been dreaming about this system for my project.

So Friday night i went to the track and well the humidity got the better of me, i had no traction at all the entire night, no matter what i did i could not get below a 2.3 60' time, but i still ran a 14.14@99.97mph which is slightly better then the 14.20 i ran in the fall

Why would you want to do a rear mount setup?

Yup this was N/A i put it together N/A so i could get it etested within a couple weeks lol

I know i was hoping for just a bit more traction so i could at least get a 13.9, oh well though, i'll get there eventually lol

Everything else has been going alright, finally officially got caught up on my bills lol and i've been chatting with friend about trying to adapt 296mm rotors to my festiva

I think you need to worry about gaining speed before you worry about slowing it down get some tires on that bitch lol.

Could you have remotely relocated the MC reservoir? Maybe made a bracket for the reservoir and extend the lines to another location of the firewall and made a heatshield for the MC itself? That way, if the MC did get hot, it wouldnt go melting the plastic rings and it wouldnt directly heat the brake fluid since it would be in another location.

Just a thought.

^^its not the reservoir I'm worried about, it's the seals around the piston inside the MC I'm concerned about

Jack - upgrading the brakes isn't going to cost me anything up front, can you say 4 piston calipers buwahaha

4 piston? wow that's intense haha. Gonna get an adjustable prop valve so you can dial in the brake bias?

Ya i had major wheel spin, if i could have had even a little bit of traction i would have hit 13's easy

As for the brakes, i'm gunna keep it quiet for now, but once i have pics to post i will
