Damn GPS sent me on a short cut tht did'nt exist. It too was a logging road, I bounced once on my front torsion bar, tough ass little car, loaded with gear and kayak on top.

Heh... Yeah there's parts you can source for cruise... I'm not sure what they are at the moment... remind me (pm) and I'll do some research after work.

No belts, and just plain dangerous!
I'll go with the after market, but don't want no cheap **** either. It must work long time, as the car work long time, 1988-present!

I drive it to work every day actually, and I'm looking for something in the realm of $3800 obo for it with the FCON and EVC and all the other bits with the stereo reassembled. It has new Falken Zeix ZE912s on it, new front bearings+seals and rotors/pads, new rear pads, new alternator, and has Redline oil all around (motor gets semi-synth due to the 180K miles). The turbo isn't the greatest sounding anymore, but it does 14psi with the FCON
and EVC with no hiccups.
$3500 brought back to stock, and I'll include a RRE 15psi ECU. $3300 if you want to not buy tires/wheels (I really like them.)

Now my Brakes need help.....
Last week I replaced my Valve cover seal and changed the oil!
Today I was taking the passenger side cv axle out when I broke off 3 lugs...so it's time I decided what direction to go on relplacing the original equipment or redo the old spendle with new rotors and bearings, the galant upgrade seems to be for rally and this car is not for rally use guys, it's economy+ (road use only-unlike some 4 wheelers). I'v pondered over the Galant upgrade and decided to not do that, as I have possible rally plans for my 91 Cayman EGT and Protege LX.
It's down now until I decide wth to do, the spindles are in a shop to be pressed out new bearings will be needed and if I keep the old spindles, the rotors too will be replaced.
I will keep this car and drive it where ever the flap I want, so it must be right and road ready, 45 mpg, to hell with a new hybird or smart car, I love my BF.
My BF is my daily beater now for work.David

the gallant upgrade is mostly to get rid of the captive rotors in my opinion.

would you and others please reply to this request as I don't want to be to radical with this car. It's a daily beater and occasional road tripper.
It's a modified golf cart in my oppinion, 45+ mpg. Who's Golf cart can do that??David

I Droped in the Vj11 and New 2" Downpipe to my hks 2.5 cat back. Only Getting a max of 12 psi boost in 4th gear and like 10psi in other gears. i think my stock intercooler is holding me back a lil. but it still is quicker!!!!!
