the one on the car now would be the Skuce stainless steel manifold. there was a group buy for them here on this site from the member Skuce. and while im talking about it, THANKS AGAIN SKUCE, this manifold is SICK"See that car, in the 80's that car was deadly." Some good head way was made on my little racer. The interior is now painted flat black, fire pannels are sorounding the fuel cell, the battery is mounted, the body work is done and I'm waiting for a day when it's warm and sunny and I can lay down a coat of flat black.
But don't worry, I've talked with 808 and I have a the all clear to copy him...but I'm going to have a small twist but it's a secret for now.
For anyone with a roll cage/roll bar use flat black. I don't have tinted windows and you can hardly tell I have metal back there. Pic will be use as soon as everything's painted!sigpic

Don't worry, mine wasn't planned to stay flat black for long.

The top of the radiator in my BF started leaking today(or I just noticed it today, lol). I knew I should have sold it sooner. Oh well gotta fix it before it really snows.

Helped my dad put the new radiator in today. He wanted to do it...I wanted to do it myself...ended up being a bigger issue than I thought and would have taken me a long time and tools I didn't have to get it done.
Exhaust leak is getting worse too. ARG!

I got in a fight with mine. We have a freezing rain event last night and today I couldn't get into the passenger side to put my tool box there, so I put it in the hatch but it nearly hit me on the head since it's 15F out and the shocks didn't feel like working. Then I bust open the driver's side(frozen of course), get in and close the door but it won't latch because either the latch or the rod was frozen in the door. So I go to start it but was flustered enough that I forgot to hit the clutch and just about starter-launched it into my BG. Then I push in the clutch to actually start it and it stays on the floor. WTF! It pops back then I push it and it does it again...then I notice that it had worn the top edge of the floor mat and was getting stuck on it. So I carefully pulled it into our heated garage, cut the floor mat a little, pop off the interior door pull and mess with it til I finally got it working. So I take off with the rear window defroster on and it doesn't work AT ALL it seems, no thawing.
The exhaust leak is now audible from inside the car which really hacks me off.
So I go to my brother's shop, work on the Protege5 a bit, then go home. Sold my extra JRSC kit so I had to ship it off. I go to get into the 323 and the door lock is stuck half-way. Somehow I got the door open, get in, close it, and it wouldn't open. ARG!!! I sat there playing with the lock til I figured out that if I locked it then slammed the door it popped the lock all the way up so it would work right.
Oh yeah and the underpoweredness of it makes me sad...but I can't bear to drive my BG with the salt they caked on the roads here.
