Made it back from Santa Cruz safely in the now nearly 295k mile gtx Sunday night. Rally lights are looking good, sourced some rally spares for the GTX, hopefully I can find room for them somewhere. Hopefully this weekend I'll get a chance to work on the car some. It's doubtful though. I'm supposed to be in Yakima all this week and then Lake Havasu for two weeks starting Monday.

My friend & I converted my 323 gt manual sunroof to a power sunroof using only the motor from a BG GTX. This modification is a whole lot easier & quicker than the full moonroof assembly swap. The parts needed are the motor, the switch, the loom. First disconnect the battery then pull off the manual winder with the lights & winder lever, drop the roof lining, pull off the rear view mirror, screw off the winder splice in the power window loom to the existing lighting loom the end that sends current to lamps @ winder, bolt up the motor, connect the battery, test it to see that the lights, both slide & tilt function are working properly, then fit up the roof lining, fit up the switch, fit up your rear view mirror & you are good to go. You can always put the moon roof at a later date if u really need the moon roof all u would need is just swap glass roof with metal roof & use the sunshade that comes with the moon roof.Last edited by mazkam; 10-22-2008, 08:57 PM.
