Hi Gang - I was an old timer at mazda323performance.com, some of you may remember me, I have owned my car for 6 years it is an '88 GT and a daily driver. Joined this forum after panicking that there are no onlione communities or forums anymore for the BF cars. Cripes even Autotrader only has 9 or 10 BF cars for sale..and none GT or GTXs..LOL
These cars are sadly becoming non-existent and it broke my heart to read that Corksport no longer sells BF parts after reading some threads on here. My car has fully Poly urethane bushings in EVERY suspension component that was bought from Corksport, I also bought my Cusco Strut brace, lowered springs and intercooler all from Corksport.
I still enjoy my car and plan to keep it.
Well it is the internetz and so here are some pics pf my car:
Wow - the outside of your car is almost identical to my old 323GT. Red, side DOHC badges removed, black wheels (I had a set of Enkei's), and exhaust. I'll have to dig through my old picture pile and see if I can find some of mine.
Last I knew, mine was heading to CA with some girl on her way to college. But, that was 1995.
2000 Mercury Sable LS Premium Wagon, 3.0L DOHC (my daily driver)
2003 Mazda Protege5, 2.0L (daughter's daily driver)
2004 Ford Freestar SEL, 4.2L (kid's beater-mobile)
2008 Nissan Titan SE, Crew Cab, Long Bed, 5.6L (hauler of stuff)
2012 Camry LE, 2.4L (wife's daily driver)
Thanks guys.
I bought the bumper used (it was in decent shape) and fortunately came with NOS grills from Mazda, but spent hours and hours prepping it to get it ready for paint. Lots of sanding and paint trials.
