    Sloppy/Loose Shifter

So the other day I jumped in my car and noticed my shifter was very loose and had lots of play. I was able to turn the shaft itself. I took the boot off and found that a small plastic square bushing i think it is broke?

Is there any way to get one of these anybody make a replacement or any way to get a stock one?
if no replacement is available what other cars use this same one so I can try and get a used one?

    Here are the pictures?

    Thanks in advance

another user here has made a brass bushing that works perfectly take a brass fitting and trim / file it to fit .. shouldnt take more than 1/2 hr

I might have to do that if nothing else.

Would delrin or nylon plastic work better?

What is "bronzoil"? I was only thinking delrin or nylon as it would be self lubricating also

I put a small 8mm nut in mine, worked perfect.
