Anyone know if there is records of 88-89 GTX sales by Color/Options?

it would be cool to see the breakdown of how many of each color / options (such as sunroof / hard top) . Kind of like some other collectible cars have. being it was only 1200 or so, it would be cool to see which is rarest of the rare..

Since folk are still arguing about totals sold, breaking that un-fixed number down into options is prolly a pipe dream.
'90 AWD Protege, full GTR drivetrain swap, ~320 whp daily driver, RIP, and
'90 AWD Protege, yet another GTR swap, Open class rallycar with a Toyota GT4 gearbox swap, thus crossing the line between hobby and mental illness. And a Brabus E55 K8, removing all doubt.

Pass the bowl dude....agreed. These cars were not destined as classic cars by no means so no records would have been kept. The only thing Mazda was aiming at was selling the 5000 cars for homologation.
