Tell me about it. I was about to go through the roof as it was, my whole afternoon was planned out yesterday dependent on having the car, and that was ruined.
...sitting for 3 1/2 hours isn't my idea of a good day. Not to mention 1:30 was already 4 1/2 hours AFTER they told me it would be ready. I was not happy yesterday and I'm still not happy today.
They also stained my back seat. yay!Last edited by Mazdaspd2008; 02-02-2011, 03:38 PM.

I hear ya. Haven't had any runs with anything lately... was waiting on a re-tune opportunity due to some mid range boost cut issues, now we discovered my high pressure fuel pump is ****ting out on me cause of mods and upped boost, so I'm waiting to find a new one in stock somewhere so I can go down and get the re-tune finished finally.

The verdict of Fine Line's latest fail is... *drumroll*
Another week and a day, when I told them that I needed the car back by last Friday (dropped it off last Monday). Pinholes in the paint, dust/dirt under the paint, other various paint defects, quarterpanel STILL pulled out where it meets the bumper, so they're still misaligned, and the detail cleaning job looks like ****. OH, and the stain isn't out yet either.
I'll be getting second opinions from other body shops as well as finding out my legal options for reimbursement and/or compensation for not only lying to me several times about how long they'd have my car, keeping me ill informed about when I'd have my car back, working me around THEIR schedule when they shouldn't be inconveniencing me any more than they already have and working around MY schedule, but for also further damaging my car in the process (staining my backseat) and failing to resolve said damage. They haven't even offered any kind of compensation for that this entire time.
I'm more pissed off about this than I've been over anything in a long time. They've wasted my time, cost me money, and haven't done a goddamn thing that I've asked of them. I'm still unhappy with their results and how they've treated me over the past several months I've had to deal with them.
I'll be keeping you guys informed... this thread is one place where I've explained several times how my experiences with them have gone so it's a good idea to keep it around as a reference.
