i searched and dident get much. was wondering what all is involved with the cayman trim? i know the color, "premium" sound, and matching rims are part of it. anything else? it has a sunroof and electric mirrors but manual door locks and windows? kinda wierd. thnaks in advance

my caymen had the color matched wheels, door panels, seats, i forget what all had the brighter trim its been for ever. but mine had sunroof,pm's, pw's and pl's...i think it had premium sound too , i think i remember something being over the regular speaker grill that said premium sound......

yea thats what mine has. and it has the matching color interior and seats. I got rid of the seats though sat me up too high. it has mx3 seats now. i just think the half power assist half not is so wierd. do it all or do do it at all if you ask me

Mine had Sunroof, PM, that was it for power stuff. Also the color matched interior and wheels...

yup thats definately what i have nice! considering i wasent looking for a egt actually a pro lx or was going to swap my dead dx. this one fell into my hands for the right price when i was on my way to buy a engine.

I had that same car in the pic, had caymen pin striped seats, door panels and GT floor mats, color matched rims and the premium sound (well it had it, owner changed the speakers).

too bad they dident have a little more power or suspenion upgrades. i think something similar to the infini would have been sweet. it makes me want to keep the rims now get the paint freshed up to oem color and run her like that. she will look good, be under the radar (definately here in so cal cops only pull over hondas with I "heart" my honda stickers on them for the most part lol) and be close to OG on the outside. then get my engine plans going

I have never seen a single egt with power locks! I have still yet to find one. I know everything was power except the locks. If some ones does have power locks how are they operated?? Are they just the simple actuators like most of the new vehicles?

The paint on my old Cayman wheels was pretty clean, I had a buddy polish the alum. areas and it came out pretty fkin sweet.

My caymen EGT had power locks on it, same as the protege where it's the drivers door worked the passengers. Also power sunroof and mirrors. I actually think I still have like 3 sets of 2 doors power locks laying around. Just silly me never got the door wiring and I have been to lazy to read my fsm.

I actually like the half/half power assist. Gives you the best of both worlds IMO. Better feel and control at high speeds, and you don't have to fight the wheel in the parking lot.

I have power windows and sunroof but the locks are manual. I have lock actuators from my alarm on the doors and the truck latch but not a inside unlock button.

oh actually mine didnt have the wheels mine was a 94 with the 7 spokes, but it had the remote gas door while i think about it.. my new one i had to add it on...

power steering is the **** but i would like electric windows even if they are a pain lol. im old EDM m3 my driverside window just would not stay operating correctly. dumped stupid $$$ trying to get it right. got it right by selling it lol that thing hauled the mail though!!
