    Have just been shown this forum by Ryan Sahs seems quite neat!

          At this stage trying to get money together for a cage. Then build a second engine with stronger Gbox, more power etc.

          Got dyno'd at 200hp which is well below what im aiming for but will do for now while I learn to race.

            wow! car looks amazing! the FE3 fits nice and snug in there as well.

            What are your plans for the second engine? 2.2 crank swap? Either way I'm sure it will be an improvement over stock.

                  Cheers guys

                  Have not actually thought to much into it.

                  At the moment the engine has;
                  new rings and bearings
                  fe5 cams (from memory)
                  lightened flywheel
                  440 injectors
                  rb25det turbo
                  kink G1 V5 computer
                  5 puk clutch
                  Slotted cam gear

                  Guess new engine requires;
                  Better turbo
                  B2200 belhousing with S4/5 turbo gearbox
                  Clutch?
                  550 injectors
                  New plenum/larger throttle body?
                  G4 link
                  Cams?
                  Adjustable cam gear

                  So unsure really, open to suggestions! Would really like a settup were i can just slap standard ish engines in as it seems some guys are getting huge power on standard internals which got me interested in these engines in the first place. main thing is turbo computer and gbox upgrade. Will give the settup it has now a decent run for now just going to try get parts together so can swap everything over at one go.

                    Before you criticize someone, first try walking a mile in their shoes. Because then you'll be a mile away, and you'll have their shoes...

                        Yea FE3 is a solid way to start, it'll hold a lot of power stock, and a ridiculous amount if you build them up with forged internals lol. Have you heard anything about the 2.2 crank swap? It's supposed to be a well worthy modification and a quick way to increase displacement

                          No i havnt heard anything about this swap. To be honest im bloody useless at all that sort of thing hence why i was thinking standard would be a good idea. What does this swap involve? Im only really after 300hp in a 900 or less Kg car. Should 300kw be fairly easy to achieve std?

                          You chaps sound like a friendly helpfull bunch
