Cody's Yellow 2000 ZX2 S/R

Welp. Yea. Bought a 2000 S/R, 157,6xx miles on it. Yellow in color, so one of 1000 that year, and 1110 Ever. It's pretty clean. It'll become the grocery getter, as I intend to finish cleaning up the black 92, and selling it off.

Not sure what will come of this one, other than I intend to keep it for a long time. The unreasonable part of me says restore/maintain it, leave it stock-ish. The other part of me really does want to swap in an OBD2 KL and run 5-7PSI from a clutched M62 on stock KLG4 electronics. (You know, the sensible thing to do.) I think the ZX2 would be so easy to swap, what, with all the extra room in front of the core support, as well as bolt-on RX7 balljoints instead of mx3 LCA's... Should be pie.

Anyway, Here's a picture for now. Started raining right after I paid the guy, so no interesting or detailed shots. Maybe when the rain stops, or becomes snow.

Is there an easy way to tell? I haven't peeked at the ECU yet. Not really all that educated about the differences, or the ZX2's in general yet. I plan on going over to team zx2 tonight to research some ****. This is only my second 3rd gen, and the first one never really got modified, so I have lots to learn.

Yeah wheels would have split today if it hadn't rained then snowed. I'm throwing some EGT 7spokes on it for now, and I think those white enkei Compe 16x8's I have, will do summer duty...

I'm tempted to swap a FSVT intake mani on so I can use that Pierce FSTB on this since I cannot sell it for some reason. It'll also get black mx3 seats, an EGT rear swaybar with josh_lx endlinks, some of those black housing headlights, coilovers, factory mudflaps, 3000k (yellow) headlights and fogs, a roof rack, maybe a front lip, and it'll start shedding s/r parts soon (I have better options for those parts just lying around) I should be able to sell around $1000 off this thing easily, and not have to buy anything other than the headlights. That should make it a little better for now, then decide what to do with it later.

Maybe I'll get something JDM for it, those zx2 dorks seem to roll eyes about anything foreign on our forien designed " 'merican cars."

I can't seem to sell my FSTB either, which sucks cos I have no use for it. I'm tempted to do MX3 leathers in mine since the stock seats + coils kill my back sometimes (not enough support or something, **** feels like jello over repeated bumps) but I really want to keep this thing nice and MX3 seats wouldn't quite match.

FFB LOL, I don't have one anyway. I'm gonna hold onto it for now, my dad has a FSVT mani sitting around, maybe he'll sell it to me. I cannot wait for those laser parts Bo, that's what the S/R is shedding parts for $$$ for Also, you should grab a rear wiper motor and arm for me, I'm all wired up for it now!

Lol, they're already ragging on me for having "jdm" parts on my "domestic" 5 door. 'Tards... I decided just to sell the s/r borla, make money that way, and I have that cork sport muffler to slap in its place.
