    Battery or alternator?

    Quick question guys.

    I'm curios if anyone knows what would cause my egt to bog down when at an idle when my radiator fan kicks in or when I turn my lights on? It almost seems to me like it is a bad alternator or battery. Any feedback?

    Take a volt meter, turn the car on and check the voltage at the battery with all the lights/ect off, then turn everything on and see. You should be averaging around 14V with the car running. If you're showing anything under 13.8V I'd say your alternator belt may be loose...if it's around 12V then it's shot lol.
