ok well car's unlocked (30 seconds ftw) so then i chased the threads on the push rod (dinged it up accidentally lol). Now i'm just waiting to wake up so i can crawl under the dash once again...lol

hahah you win! that's monroe she's 3 in December. I put her in the car so she wouldn't get in the way of the engine/trans falling lol
aaaaanyways haha, this is the first automatic i've seen with 3 pedals! haha
kind of a crappy pic but you can see the push rod in there now, it was real easy to do all this so far..
was having issues with my temp gauge being super slow, so i swapped my speedometer assembly into a 626 mtx cluster i had, just to keep the mileage accurate for the MTO...
only real difference is this skin, but it'd be easier to swap the assembly out or just leave it if you want, doesn't have any diffence to the harness lol

I believe this is the auto ecu, but i'm going to check to see where the harness goes, who knows...
anyways, kind of backwards, but here's the plate i had to remove to expose the clutch m/c holes...the other yellow nut didn't survive haha.
then you have to thread off 2 nuts, then pull this out in the engine bay
which leaves you with the hole
bam! hole filled

shouldnt be too hard. the pgt's were 15 second cars with the totally stock KL. there's a KL 626 guy running 14.5's all day with just basic bolt on's and a full interior.~PaTricK~

nice, well i figure i'm not doing much performance work to the car so i'ill see what weight loss will net lol. it only has header back exhaust, hei mod w/ external coil, 8mm wires, and a cold air intake...so it might be running 5hp over stock lol.-Jack

went outside for a smoke, walked around the side of the 1/2 garage my dad has...and what do i see? my bucket of parts with 4" of water in them and my flywheel and clutch all covered in rust!!!! WTF! my dad moved all my stuff outside 2 days ago and its been pissing rain!!!
so i wasn't too happy about that, considering the bucket has all the nuts, bolts, and small misc stuff, had the vris stuff...lol, just not a good situation, so the water's drained, and i'll have to wire wheel everything now...god knows how many bolts are there.
on a seperate note, i compared the KL friction disk to the BP and KL flywheel, and it seems that the BP is running a smaller disk, but the flywheel still has room to accept the larger KL disk...which is odd that they didn't do that from the factory.
So to save some $$ right now i'm going to use my BP clutch kit on the KL flywheel, and have it machined. The reason for this? It seems the BP friction disk leaves the same amount of extra space on the KL flywheel as it does on the BP flywheel...so why not?
Making an order with Rockauto for my clutch slave cylinder, rear mount, and 2 axle seals, comes up to $85 shipped which is reasonable considering my only WTB offer on mx6.com was $40 shipped on a rear mount, then i'd still have to buy the clutch slave cyl and axle seals for $50 shipped...lol...also have a warranty-Jack

sweet thanks for the re-assurance man lol.
also last night was a little more green than normal haha, so i got creative and gutted the bent rear engine mount, reshaped it, then cleaned everything up and dumped a lot of polyurethane caulking in with the center pin/sleeve thing positioned correctly (a bit wider than the mount is, so that was interesting).
So we'll see in a couple days if that worked! if it did then i just saved some money!
Also will be going back to the 99 626 for the clutch slave cylinder and shift boot! then after that i just need the flywheel machined and there's all the parts-Jack

also on a seperate note, my mom RULES haha, when i was with her in town looking for Royal Purple or Redline trans fluid and struck out, she went to a performance shop in Barrie while there and picked me up 3 bottles of Royal Purple
so all i need now is the flywheel resurfaced and the clutch slave from the 626 at my friends yard! Hopefully going tomorrow, no cars around to drive atm...lol everyone's out and about.
