well just bought the greddy knockoff BOV and boost gauge from badassescort? for the 626 lol...my knockoff sounds great and works great after I changed the ****ty plastic o-rings to oil resistant rubber o-rings...lol so why not get another.-Jack

Well today did a bit of work, but forgot drain buckets so I had to call it a day til tomorrow.
-lower x mbr off
-front engine mount disconnected
-left/right mounts disconncted
-intake manifold/tb off
-harness disconnected
-fuel lines and filter
-throttle linkage
-Y pipe disconnected at the manifolds
-trans cable disconnected
bout it, gonna go back tomorrow with the mtx trans/flywheel/clutch kit and hopefully be able to install it by the end of the day
just got pull the rear engine mount,drain the coolant, pull the rad, the axles, the trans cooler, disconnected and p/s and she'll be ready to be lifted out hopefully!
So I don't see why I shouldn't be able to bolt the mtx stuff on if it's out...so I'd like to have it placed back in the engine bay by tomorrow evening...I'll snap pics tomorrow tho-Jack

Ya I know haha. I'm doing it in the order I planned tho, got the Protege on the road, then the 626 was next. Just a shame the 626 is getting priority right now due to the Protege's condition lol.
I'm in a spot today though, as no vehicles are here to drive. No one drove my mom to work, which is VERY unusual, and to top it off my sister took the BHA which has all my tools in it after I asked her to tell me if she's taking it so I don't get screwed over with my tools...low and behold lol...
So I woke up early (for me) for no reason haha, really kind of annoyed right now. Wish my cooler was in for the BG so I could drive it! Almost contemplating on running a 28" long pipe to stand in for the cooler til it comes in...but intake temps wouldn't like me too much lol.-Jack

getting there lol...
wiring harness, left axle/spindle, rad, xmbr, fuel rail banjo bolt, shifter mounting hardware, and then she should be good to go...
May have to change my fuel rail out tho, the banjo bolt is being a bitch and doesn't want to thread in at ALL.
and the left axle won't go in the trans, might have to pull the strut to gain more room...
Way to much wiring in the engine bay though lol...sweet lord...-Jack

Well she starts, idles, and moves under her own power time to re-assemble everything else and go for a cruise sometime soon!
just have to snip all the ATX harness plugs, keep bleeding the clutch, install the rad, coolant, trans fluid, and install the hood!
Once she's back at home I'll probably go through the wiring a bit more thoroughly, but I just want to get it driving so I can get it back here to finish tweaking it-Jack

ya felt so good haha, it cranked for about 4 seconds to build fuel pressure then bam, started right up and idled around 900 (IAC is disconnected lol can't find the effing plug for it in the cluster of wiring) but kept it reving around 1300 while I pumped the clutch pedal and moved her off the ramps!!! I was so happy haha.
Only quirk really is the lock mechanism for the ignition key, it needs a cylinder to be pushed forward for the key to unlocked so you can get it out of the ignition cylinder lol, but some JB to hold it open will work (no pressure on the mechanism so it'll hold fine)
Also have to adjust the clutch pedal or possible the brake pedal, the clutch pedal rubs when I press it down now lol, so gotta look into that.
Also lost a brake pad, which is annoying, so I'll wait til I can get new pads/rotors next month for her-Jack
