    miller motor guru's here please

    looking @ possibly snagging a 2001 millenia S with 297k KM (184k miles)
    known issues? high mileage issues?
    apparantly the car had a trans done last year and the owner couldnt pay fot it so the shop is selling it. mind you i am not a fan of the shop ( mr transmission) but the car looks to be in very good shape and i may be able to snag it cheap.

    so really looking for someone that's owned one and can give me some insight on what to look for and watch out for.

    Watch out for the supercharger, they are notorious for the seals going bad causing a lot of burning oil... from what i've read they are either good or bad, not really any in between

    Although i've never owned one... yet.... i have my eye on one with a recently new SC as a donor car lol

      wow that's high mileage dude, I'd passsssss. That engine won't be loving life much longer lol or the SC probably...

        Yep what they ^^^ said. If you go on any of the millenia forums they are riddled with supercharger problems.

          So what your saying is get a Millenia with a KL and if you want more power drop in a ZE? or supercharge the KL

            Can't supercharge the KL with KJ parts, totally different setup.

            With 184k the supercharger has probably been replaced at least once, from what I've seen they don't like to make it past 100k

                      ^^From what i understand, the KL tranny bolts to the KJ.... i'll find out for sure soon enough

                        Just thought i'd bump this thread to show that the KL tranny does for sure bolt to the KJ
