First I was like "o goodie Cody posteded on this thread wif moar piktars of the torino" and then I was all like "fuuuuuuuuuuu"'90 AWD Protege, full GTR drivetrain swap, ~320 whp daily driver, RIP, and
'90 AWD Protege, yet another GTR swap, Open class rallycar with a Toyota GT4 gearbox swap, thus crossing the line between hobby and mental illness. And a Brabus E55 K8, removing all doubt.

Today was oilchange and trans fluid change in the Giant Bus. I need another gallon of delo 400 and at least that amount of Transynd. Damn... the book says one thing but the dipsticks say another. So that's prettymuch a 5 gallon bucket for each of them items, looks like. Good thing switching to synthetic gearlube means just filter changes for the next 100k miles in this gearbox. Next is coolant fluchnfill. Book says 15 gallons. I'm wondering how much more'n that's actually gonna go back in there!'90 AWD Protege, full GTR drivetrain swap, ~320 whp daily driver, RIP, and

tried (and failed) to register the 240 today. turns out I needed a registration printout or some ****, which meant driving an hour+ to Cranston/Warwick/whateverthe**** RI to get the correct paperwork. luckily once I was there it took like $13 and 5 minutes and the woman at the counter was super friendly and helpful, which redeemed my day- I was pretty sure I was going to have to hunt down some previous owner to get the **** I needed taken care of OR they were going to tell me that something didn't match up and I was SOL.
CT DMV is closed til Tuesday now so it looks like first thing Tuesday morning I might actually be able to put this pile of **** on the street.sigpic

wired in the reverse lights, made a half-assed attempt to fix an oil leak, ziptied in the rear license plate lights (the brackets are completely rotted apart, and did the 00-01 Super Street-style single wiper bull**** since part of the linkage is ****ed up.
will fix it when I get a new actuator arm.sigpic

That reminds me to go get 3 day trip permit for rallykar. I spect that's cheaper than actually getting tabs at this point.'90 AWD Protege, full GTR drivetrain swap, ~320 whp daily driver, RIP, and
