huh? I meant painting the inside of the shell, the floor is already ECG so we need to touch up a few spots and paint the rest.
the car only has seats and a dash at this point. kind of amused that there are three white hatches with varying levels of interior at the driveway- one with everything, mine is gutted from the front seats back, and the track car.

I have a proper shop across town, but I have a 10 month old baby girl, so I decided to finish the locost in my home garage. I was loosing my mind, so I organized it, bought shelves and a proper vice.
Built the transmission mount tonight.
Looks like a mini version of the Silvia one, so I knew I was on the right track.

I cut the big jaggade hole in the floor with a Sawzall, I plan on flipping the car over and plug welding the floor to the new frame pieces and they I will grind the jaggady floor to the edge of the new frame pieces.

Is that the car I drove at the GRM Challenge? If so; yes, it makes great power but damn is it hard to drive

I think I said when I got out of it that it was the hardest car to drive. I remember it having power. LOTS OF POWER!!!! In large, totally unpredictable, amounts. Managing it was kinda like trying to drink from a fire hose.
after searching for at least six months, I managed to score two Full Reverse barrels from two completely different sellers in a span of like six days. time to refinish the faces of my MK2Rs (I'm thinking Sakura Red with some small blossoms on the spokes) and figure out where I can source the mounting bolts from.
note to self: never build wheels from scratch ever again.

Awesome man. I've been wanting even a decent rc for a while now, just haven't pulled the trigger. I love the mine, I want to be able to use mine off road though.
I'm trying to sell my Traxxas MERV right now, plus all my snowboarding gear, so I can pick up this clean white 92 EGT that I found. If anyone wants an upgraded 1/16th R-EVO VXL that needs a few parts replaced... I'll make a Sweet deal.
