        i can vouche for the speed and power of the e55, i've had my myslef behind the wheel one or two. these two car are almost even match for horse power. but the e55 has the slighter edge since there engines all come hand built and tuned extremely well from factory.

            That's flywheel, right? Versus the 452 rwhp of that Cobra.

            The Mercedes has an automatic. Correct?

              Yes its flywheel, and yes its a automatic, but its a 7 speed automatic, so you cant really use that against it... also it has way more tq

                Yea those things are monsters. The AMG SL65s are even more ridiculous. 6xxhp and 7xx ft/lbs.

                    Actually I think it's in its favor, not against it. Automatic will shift much faster than the manual. No?

                    I was trying to point out the fact that the Mercedes appears to have less wheel horse power and is apparently heavier than the Cobra but manages to beat it in a drag race. I find that interesting.

                        The sl65 is a monster, $265,000 cdn. i have one at work i'll try and get a pic of tomorrow. even comes with gunmetal wheels with a polished lip. .
