Had a good chuckle at that. No one else seemed to get it!

Thought about naming mine but nothing came to mind that I could live with.
I notice myself saying stuff like "come on baby" or "let's go girl, work with me here" when trying to merge onto a highway with large trucks getting closer in my rear view. Scary ****!

I call my Camaro Candy, because it is my girlfriends middle name and it was the sweetest car I ever owned (in highschool). She and I always got in to trouble back in the day.

I call my F150 Lucky, because the day I bought her I pulled was merging onto an empty freeway and looped her through three lanes right in front of a cop going the other way and he never even looked. That was damned lucky, I also seem to always get lucky with the ladies with that truck...

My Protege I call Tanomoshii, in keeping with her japanese origins. It means reliable, and trustworthy in Japanese. I can always count on the Pro to get me anywhere, anytime, with no trouble thus far.

My mom used to name all her cars and I probably picked it up from her. I like my cars, they are sort of like my family, my kids, and I dedicate a good chunk of my time to maintaining and modifying them, so a name seems only normal to me.

I just call mine Protege..."The Protege" or "My Car". Our MPV is referred to as "The Van"(or MPV ofcourse), my dad calls his RX-7 "RX", the Probe is sometimes "Probis", and my brother's 2 millenias are either "New Millenia", "Old Millenia" or "Good Millenia" and "Other Millenia".

Honestly naming cars is meh. Luckily back in the day Mazda had good names like Protege and Millenia(Milly). I don't know a single person that calls thier car a humanic(I just made that up) name.

                      1994 Protege BP-Turbo.....1994 Miata Supercharged.....2003 Protege5 stock DD.....1988 323 GT Turbo
