Ok, I have heard about some cosumer advocate that are filing lawsuits against cell phone companies for over charing customers, etc. Well, I wish I was privvy to exactly how the mobile phone industry works, since I could've used that knowledge a while back. In a nutshell, somehow the rollover minuts expired on my wife's and my plan, and ina matter of two months we got charge $1997.00 in usage fees. OK, so we did go to Brasil and use teh phones a bit, but we were already at $1300 before the trip. It took five months to pay it off, after being verbally chastised by the collectors til we set up a plan. It's been 8 months with out a cell phone and my life is just fine. My debt is paid off, so **** cell phones! And **** You Cingular Wireless!!

I sold cell phones for Sprint and Verizon for 3 years, there are plenty of ins and outs to their damn service agreements, usually you can bitch enough to get the charges dropped, but in the case of owing $2000, they pretty much want it and you can't get out of it. I have been with Sprint for 8 years, I renewed my contract a year ago and then decided to go to school, so I cancelled and went to Tmobile to be on my parents plan, when I cancelled they carged me the $150, which was no biggie, I knew it was coming, but then they tacked on an extra $100 in "Bonus" fees(DICKS!!!!), so needless to say, I will be calling them for the next 30 days, everyday until the damn thing is taken care of, and I will keep calling until I reach someone in Texas and not the damn India location, I swear, if they patch me through to them again I'm going to reach through the phone and beat the absolute F*** out of someone!

When I first signed up for Sprint a few years back it was when they were just getting into the cell phone/internet thingy. I got their $10/month unlimited PCS internet thingy-majiggy and looked into getting a data cable. Turns out I was able to use my cell phone as an ISP for my PC.. The upload/download speeds weren't too bad and the connection was pretty stable. For the next 6 months I used my cell phone for all my internet uses - surfing, downloading music, streaming A/V, porn, etc. Sprint called me one day and said that between me and a small handfull of people doing the same thing (about 400 nationwide), we were costing them billions of dollars in internet traffic. They pointed out the disclaimer in fine print on the brochure even though I was informed of the ability to do this by a Sprint counter guy and offered me an immediate contract cancellation. I could either cancel my phone and not be charged the breach of contract fee or I could continue service without a contract and my number would forever be banned from using PCS internet. Fawkers.

I am to boycott Office Depot/Velocity Express
They owe me 3 weeks pay and are charging me for damages done to a rental truck another driver caused. Ky wage and hour cabinet is on them.
Customers be aware that Velocity Express is owned by Office Depot and Velocity Express is not a company to work for. They hire you as an independant contractor. Peps I've been Anally raped. I have torn lower abominal and groin mucles and paid for my own workers comp insurance as well as the deductable and the company dictates and withholds the wages for the premiums to the 'contracted' workers comp ins co. I worked for them for 4 months and decided to resign because I was hurting myself to get the frieght off the tractor/trailor sort it, load my rented truck and unload all stops 80-120 miles daily by 6pm. And Start 6am. I have learned not all jobs are worth the wages we earn. I still don't have a pention from getting electricuted and forced to early retirement June 1 2004. A 15 year career in public safety. Its in Ky appeals now. Issues! I should write a song book. To make the too long story short, may God Bless Office Depot, I curse them! Thanks for the vent!

heh not only cingular. A couple years ago me and the ex had a joint account and the day we set it up they told us that we could start talking to one another for free that day. So come a month later we have a $1K+ phone bill and are like WTF? We had to fight those bastards tooth and nail, but in the end we didn't have to pay.
