Even with maxis patcvhes people complain about the lag, it gets SO slow that you cant do ANYTHING, which pretty much stops gameplay defeating the purpose of the game...

i hear you man, i have a P4 2000mghz with 512 ram and it lags like a bitch, it's almost like they make the games for future computers

HA, 366 celeron, 192 megs of ram, 30 gig hd, wireless modem, win2k.. i can run older versions of sim (sim tower, sim ant, almost sim copter :p: ), games like C&C red alert, warcraft (yes the first one), age of empires 2, and BASIC shoot em ups like doom 2... don't NO ONE bitch about a slow computer if you've ATLEAST got a pentium II.

****, yeah, i actually upgraded my PC this past february for the sole purpose of reducing the LAG problems on my copy of SC4.

I love SC and I think 4 is much more challenging than the STUPIDLY EASY 3k.

I have a Athlon 2100XP+ with 256 ram and 128mb DDR video card (geforce3). It still lags at about 1 milllion people so horribly that i cna't play it anymore. Before, with my 800mhz athlon, it would lag at about 200,000 ppl.
