My grandmother died yesterday morning. We knew it was coming as she had a massive stroke a couple weeks ago and lost her entire left lobe. She has lived in Mass all of my life, and so I have hardly known her. I have seen her 4-5 times in my whole life. My real concern is the rest of my family (3 siblings, 8 aunts and uncles). I am in the military, so I have to get leave, but I can't get emergency leave since she is not in my family. My wife is volunteer teaching all this weekend, so I also have to take my 4 yr old daughter. Should I fly out there?
