Longer mandrels for a rotary tool??

If no one understood that, this is a mandrel.

its the shaft that goes into the rotary tool so you can screw on different attachements.

I'm looking for a longer one that the normal 2"...hell i'd settle for some longer grinding bits of some sort too.

You can get longer shanks, but i have no clue about longer mandrels. If its grinding burrs your looking for they make them in very long shank versions.

The pic you have there are the rotary burrs with 1/4 by 2inch shanks, not mandrels. Mandrel is the pice that tightens around the shank.
Do you mean on the net? Probably loads of places. I don't order online for tools, I have a tool supplier that comes to the shop. search for long shank carbide burrs.

I see that your tools are not 1/4 inch. oops. Im assuming that you are using a dremel. I highly suggest you get an electric perhaps or for best results a pneumatic version with 1/4inch shanks with carbide burrs for metal or special ones for aluminum. It makes the job easy and efficient.

Sorry... Just got the website up and running a couple of months ago...

I can guarentee our burrs will last 10 times longer than Sears' stuff... Sears is all cheapy import stuff (Made in China)...

What really sucks is China is buying up all the precious metals (carbide) and driving the prices way up...

But, I would still go with American Made burrs (even if they cost a little more) because they almost never break and last much longer...

yeah i ended up destroying 2 of the 3 burrs in the package, and just said screw it even though i would have liked to port it a bit furthur (3rd burr was an oddball shape) ... so i can concur with you about sears ones being crappy
