Not to sound rude but this single cam motor as of right now has more power than any pro or escort I have ever driven.

The motors in those also suck without boost.

To the threadstarter, you do in fact have an EG. It's a chassis code, just like BG is for Proteges.

BTW vin has EJ in it where my buddies 93 hatch has EG so mine is infact an EJ...You can search it online and you'll see...

VIN =/= chassis code

My old Corolla had AE88 in the VIN, but it was chassis code AE86.
