        Yep. You can tell its the ex,d16z6 vtech. The plugs are in the front. All 1.5/1.6 non vtechs had the plugs on the back side of the vc.

              my best friend has a 95 coupe w/ a d16z6, headers, intake, 2ΒΌ" exhaust all the way back... and he used to pull on my Scort pretty good once we got to 4th gear... When it had the 185k non turbo motor. LOL

              Ive driven it many times but the Escort always felt more torquey.

              Any car has potential with time and money... just dont become a ricer'd out badgewhore and swear up and down ur car is beast cuz it has an "H" on the hood. Good luck with it, I wish you the best

              But overall... my opinion is still
