idk where you grabbed that from. its not on paypals site. if i recall they initiated something similar a while ago. them holding your money doesnt affect transfers for gifts. so if you gift money it should be instant since there isnt a product to be transported

I had it happen to me just recently on ebay. i sold an item for $350 and they held my payment for 21 days or until the person left me positive feedback. then the idiot who bought my stuff tried telling me that it was a problem with paypal, after i asked them to leave feedback so i could have my money. After many emails the person finally left me positive feedback while still claiming i was wrong. Funds released instantly.

so... wtf good is paypal? I mean really, they do NOTHING but move money around and make BANK on it, while they make rules to protect themselves making their need all the more useless.. "here we can help you, and we have fraud protection too" that fraud protection is now putting your money in pending status to verify a good transaction, that way they just take your money instead of having to pay out themselves.. they can go blow a goat, I wish I knew how worthless they were before I lost 250 bucks to a ****ty transaction. the owner needs to die in a fiery car crash, I HATE people whom make money and dont provide a legitimate service for example, my wifes cell phone, I paid EXTRA for a 3rd party protection plan. When her phone starts going crazy I come to find out one of the water stickers showed "water damage" so Verizon was out of the question for a replacement phone... I looked up my protection plan and come to find out they didnt cover ANYTHING the manufacturer wouldn't cover, so I paid 100 dollars in protection plans for our phones and they dont help me in ANY way shape or form... much like paypal, pay them a bunch and dont get anything in return.

I even got paypal's debit card so I don't have to wait the 3-4 days for the money to clear the bank. Just use the card to pay shipping fees within an hour of the buyer paying. Fk paypal. I think I'm closing my account up

Paypal is begining to really annoy me.
I had the hold put on a while when I sold an item and it took forever for the guy to leave me feedback.
Now I have an item that was shipped to AUS at the buyers request I sold him the item.
Its still enroute but because he hasnt received it yet he may get a PP forced refund because he has filed a dispute so it is possible he will have the item and his money back!
PP can go FK themselves.

I relented and started doing paypal again, for a couple recent carpart sales. I think I'll go back on my boycott of those bastards. They're making damn close to 10% on every transaction, looks like. Yeah. FK them. I'm done. I'll still sell car parts and buy stuff but it'll be money orders and such.
