    Scuba Steve has competition

Rescue Squad decided for my birthday it was time for me to join the ranks with Scuba Steve lol! So I got to "dive" in Lake Cumberland after a crash course that was a few hours long and I had the time of my life. I'm the kind of guy that I enjoy the lake, but I'm never at ease. This felt natural to me. Didn't panic (wasn't deep enough in my opinion to panic) and had some pretty good company at my side if things went wrong.

Before my ass hit that cold water

And me freezing, wanting them to take the damn picture so I could get dried off.

And my partner at one of his more photogenic moments lol!

He has made more than 170 dives and is part of the U.V.R. Aka Underwater Victim Recovery team.

All in all I believe today feel into the top three greatest experiences of my life and I can't wait to do it again. I highly recommend everyone try it at least once.

p.s. The bigger the fish you encounter, the less likely it is to bother you. They didn't survive so long by attacking whatever it seen right off.
