    purchased a Welder

Well it is a beginers welder. I paid 299 for it .

It is a thermal Arc stick welder. I figure I can't be bothered to pay these people to frigin weld stuff for me. I mean paying so much to get muffler work done is crazy and the welds don't even last a year.

Well hopefully I can learn something new with this.
As with anything I have been doing a lot of research on it and am taking all the saftey measures before I even use it the first time ..

You can see all the photo's here .

thats sweet. I have a Lincoln Arc welder. Arc welding is way easy, just practice on scraps of metal, and go nice and slow. The weld should look like a roll of dimes laid out flat. Nice and round!

I wouldnt suggest your own custom roll cage tho, unless your an engineer..lol.
      Eat ****.

Yeah I am gonna go to autozone I guess and get some scrap metal. I will just practice with them and try to lay the bead down right. Once I get the hang of it then I will put a muffler system together for the 323.

To hell with mineke and their crap welders.

I also purchased a protective mask and a set of Tig welding Gloves.

I am going to practice on some pipes, before I do the exhaust on the 323.

I have a guy that lives downstairs from me who is into welding. He will be helping me out with my welding skills ..
I may be doing some intake pipes and selling them for real cheap, if I get somewhat decent with the welding.

it would be excedingly difficult to weld thin exhaust parts with a stick welder.
stick welders are more tuned for brute work like motor mounts and such. to weld an exhaust up, you would really be better off with a mig.
