This is for the non believers of its actuall functionality (new word). He said it helps the T3/T4 spool alot quicker. And its a dual stage compressor. So at 2k the SC spools at 5psi, than the Turbo boosts at 4k at 8psi. And it has stock internals.

i don't know where to sit on this matter, i mean, it's cool and all to even be able to throw a 2 stage compression system up in a car like that, but like jesse said.. wheelspin! with that tremendous amount of horsepower, without a rear LSD, that miata is just going to throw rubber. granted if you could put every ounce of that power to the ground with minimal wheel spin, it would definately be a force to reckon with. despite skepticism, that just ****in rocks.

What is it good for then?

And in comparison, where would a well setup KenneBell Twin screw not be better?

I'm sure it runs well, but my point is that I don't like to build an engine combonation because it's unique. I want something that's useful...and that isn't any more useful than a twin screw. Even with a decent twin screw build (270 rwhp miata), you're not going to have traction in 1st or 2nd...so what's the point?

For reference, I've raced a 270 rwhp twin screwed Miata, on some big Hoosier rubber. The owner had switched gearsets so that 2nd gear now goes to over 70mph, so he can put power down.

Twin charging is a nice idea that really isn't practical.

                        superturbocharger.

cool, but as said above pointless. Still really cool though.

                              no, twin screw

as in, the type of supercharger that Mercedes Benz now uses exclusively.

internal compression within the supercharger, meaning it's not a blower, it's an actual compressor.
