    Before and after thread.

Hey guys...ive been getting some PM's from people asking to see more pictures of the pro, so i decided why not show it from day one..

Here is how it all started back in 99...my dad bought it for me..it was my 1st car...and it cost him $200 bucks. it was an 90', LX,Automatic,..and the engine was blown and had Mice living in the engine bay....

This was my 1st mod ever...the Mesh grill..and the red corners!!..lol

Then me and my pops and my brother rebuilt the motor..and added an intake...

My next mod was an $80 dollar AROSPEED(?) exhaust...and also some acura stock LS wheels.

Here is how i had my interior..I did it all myself .(this is embarasing)....

Here is the shaved trunk me and my cousin did in 02' ...........

    I also had the EVOIII front for a while....(Late 01'-02' ?)

This was her in her "DAY"...she had GSR wheels...shaved rear door handles, Shaved trunk, EVOIII front, BMW M3 sidemarkers, and HELLA fogs...

By this time i had gone through 1 tranny and 2 motor rebuilds..so when the engine finnaly blew again i had no choice but to park her in the backyard and save up for my babys future....

And so it began...in the same place where she sat for almost a year...till i had enough funds to begin...

HJere is my cousin johnathan after we took the BP out....

    she served me well...well...not really....lol.....

Getting her ready for her new heart...

Here i am putting in a little elbow grease..lol...

    BLING BLING!!!

    THERE IT IS..Ladies in Gentleman....my BP-T...

The car was then sent out to G+R Technologies for Intercooler and piping setup..and also for the wiring...by now it was late 02' Early 03'...

By mid 04 i had grown out of my "Ricer stage"..(lmfao)..
and decided to just keep the car clean and tatstefull...so i just wanted everything to be black.....

        I started with my interior....

Me and my cousin also did some little embossed prints in the door panels....
        came out OK...i guess...

I painted the whole exterior of the car with black primer..(7 cans!)...
And i also had a pair of 16"O.Z. Rims in the back and steelies in the front
Oh and i forgot to mention..back when i 1st installed the EVO bumper
        i had cut my springs for a 2 1/2 inch drop...(big mistake)....

Here she was with a newer set of rims..
this time all 4...i still donot know what brand they are, but i like em'.

Here is a shot of her final days with the EVOIII bumper and an oil cooler i had installed because the car was still automatic...which really sucked ass...

Around this time My tranny blew again..it was my 4th tranny...and i was tired of it.
so me and my brother swapped it out and put in a G series trany and
made it a 5 speed...which i should have done a long long time ago....

Here is how she sits today...

The evo bumper was sold to LimpGTX..and i kinda miss it...
I swapped my front end with one from a 94'...i also took the trunk.
The rims were painted bronze...and the lips re-polished.
She is now a 5 speed..and she runs well...she still needs some tuning..
but like everything else it will come in due time..i preffer to do all of the work
myself...but sometimes i do use an experts help..
90% of the car was done by me, my brother and my father...
and all the people on Club protege and Protege club throughout the years
          Thank you all!!

Interesting story and very nice work. The car looks great and obviously the restoration was a great learning experience for you. I especially liked the fact that it was a real family project.

Kick ass....I agree with the EVO fron on there. Your rims are integra LS rims painted and a polished lip. I have a honda friend who has the exact same rims painted identical. Car is bad ass...got any time slips outta her?

                            Thanks for the compliments guys!..

as for the rims..i know that they ARE NOT integra LS "Mesh" wheels...i know what those look like my boy had them on his car before he bought a pair of GSR's.

The rims had a cener cap that was chrome that i didnt like so i never used it. The cap had a VR on it...
