Brothers WRX vs. Mustang 5.0

Just a vid clip of when we went to the track a while ago of my bro in his wrx racing some guy in a mustang.

Back then, the only mods on the wrx was a CAI and a muffler.

The vid cuts and its hard to see the times, but rick ran a 14.19 @ 95.5mph
the mustang ran a 14.54 @ 99.81mph

or its a pretty lame stock 5.0

For a various amount of reasons, that can be overviewed in general automotive if need be

What kind of 'stang is it? A stock SN95 GT usually runs 15+ stock.

5.0 stangs arn't that fast. That one proly had some headers on it or some minor bolt on's. Yes you can build them, but stock they sucked ass!!!

You can put stuff on your car as long as you can back it up

5 point harness? in a 15 second car? = Ricer

5 point harness? 7 second car? = Not that bad

thats the thing with the ricers, they make up there car so they look "fast" but there slow as hell... if you can back it up with speed, do whatever you want

What if it's a 15 second car that auto-x's?


My bro-in-law doesn't run 7 seconds in the 1/4 but i'll bet he'd run circles around anybody on this board in his E-prepared '83 Rabbit on an auto-x course!
