MX-3 Seats Installed (For Tall People Only)

I put in my MX-3 seats about 3 weeks. (thanks BPower) They'er a little riped up, but B gave me a great deal.

The only problem I have had with then, is you sit so low but after you get use to it they are great. For a bolt in cheap alternative to race seats they rock. You sit in them, not on them.

i would have just bolted mine (when i get one) to the seat rail's base... sounds like an idea...

no no no... you don't want more than a 45 degree angle in your shoulder harness. So you can either install a roll cage, mount them to the bolts used for the rear seatbelts, or have some custom mounts welded up... but you DO NOT bolt them down to the back of the seat rails, that could cause serious spinal compression in an accident.

oh.. i didnt know that... i have much to learn... so mounting them on the foot of the seat rail = bad?... ok.. scratch that off my list.. =)

                        that is less than ideal...

course, i think using harnesses with anything other than a dedicated harness bar / roll bar is a bad idea :p:
