Nice car i agree that motor bay is clean. New wheels would set the car off . I got a question what is the difference between a se and dx?

LX ~> BP, tach, power everything, 14in rims not steelies, dash clock, cruise, bigger sway bars, rear discs, IM sure IM missing somethings...
DX ~> B8, options on above amenity things, sometimes not there. Oh and 13in steelies like the 323, Rear drums, smaller sway bars.
SE ~> B8 and usually no options. 13in steelies.

cant be an LX then. LX's have to have at least 14's to clear the caliper. They might have had some 14in steelies from another car or something... I dunno.

Oh and I was just listing the common amenities that the models come with. There are always variations as different options could be purchased.

Some LXs got 14" steel wheels with Mazda hub caps.

Some SEs got 13" steels with chrome trim rings and center caps. Prolly the rarest wheels on a US Protege, lol.

the muffler is not to loud at idle & has a nice deep sound on accleration & it dosen't sound like a mellon launcher

Nice car, I've been thinking of getting a B8 protege while I turbo the LX, or a festeva. I really like the foglight grill I've seen so many pop up on the boards, I should go take pics of mine.

BTW-My 92 LX had 14" steelies.
