I paid 500$ for this beast 2 years ago, a 1990 SE with 189k on it...
One year, many races, and a lot of miles later
Yet another year later, even more races. This is now, after I got bored and spraypainted it black, now the transmission slips and it burns oil, it did, however, make a 1000 mile trip without a hitch last month...
Then my friend (a girl) sold me this for 400$
But it needed a motor... heres the kind of maintainence level we're dealing with...
But have no fear, the rest of the car, minus the dents, was in good shape. One low mileage BP later...
And we have a protege replacement!
