what % tint u got? I got the kkm intake, its a good kit. i wish tere was a CAI kit for the svt. B/c it needs one

The tint was on the car when i got it. so i dont really know i think its about as dark as possible lol cause its super dark

the car lookls sick, i have seen one or two on the freeway lately.
i was wondering what sereis motor is in it, is it a KL series? do they bolt up to a Probe or 626? i was just wondering.

Heres the thing i thought about these motors..

These duratec motors can be swapped into Focus's..which does coem with the same 2.0sohc spi thats in the 3rd gen escort, adn the 2.0 sohc spi is built off the 1.9sefi in the 2nd gen Escort LX's, and has the exact same mounts etc everything as the 2.0 in the 3rd gen escort/Focus. And the 2nd gens are the same as pros/323's... ID love to see a duratec 2.5 in a 1st gen...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you have to do some custom work to put a Mazda engine in a non-GT Escort?

nope, u just iwll have to change the tranny/axles. From waht ive seen its like putting a bp in a dx.

Hmm... i know some of the stuff stayed the same somewhat but in the end the only 100% Mazda motor is the 1.8! The 1.9/2.0/spi, etc. is all 100% Ford! I remember once having a argument with a guy on another forum because he said the 1.9 is better because it can be built up and rebalanced and spin to 7k, etc. Well thats great but mine does it stock at 157k miles!

Nice and clean, looks like alot more leg room then a 3rd gen protege. seats look comfy too!
