    New Radiator

    Yesterday I put in the aluminum Griffin Radiator that I bought from RallyBP 94. Thanks again man.

    After a few hours of modification, fabbing up some custom mounts, finding radiator hose that would fit, finding a fan that was a good fit, making a custom harness for the fan, and lots of thinking, I got it all together. It was a pretty late night at the shop, and in the end, I was just hoping that there were no coolant leaks and that the fan turned on. So far I'm happy with the results.

    I think it was time for a new radiator.

              That radiator looks like a 3 core, really friggin big for a compact. You shouldn't have any problem with cooling now. Looks very nice installed.

                  Probably not. It takes like a 1/2 hour for it to come on. It hardly ever came on with my old radiator and fan. It's like having a/c again.

                      I'll measure it up for you man.

                      I'm pretty sure it is just a universal fit, but I didn't buy it new, so I can't tell you for sure.

                        Neuman,

                        my radiator has dual cores.

                        The dimensions are:

                        core = 2.5" thick,
                        core itself = 18" long x 13'' high
                        tank to tank (overall dimension) = 22'' long x 13'' high.
