Yeah shes working oretty damn good...got some tracking issues in fourth in the rain... BUT other then that...lol
uh no its just a KIA head, back in the day when i built it for just NA (eg...10:1 piston's and a few other na goodies) i went to the junk yard got a SOHC block from a automatic protege and a head from a KIA thus the KIA head, had them rebuilt and in the process we got the thrust bearings in backwards...so they got hot and werent getting oiled and spun out then the crank decided to machine the block...so both were trashed...so the newest rebuild is when i studed the block and put my short block that was originally in the car back in with the KIA head..thats where i am now...we will see how she holds up...some pics of the block and such...
and i had the vj20 housing machined by a machine shop...i deff would not try and tackle that...

I know what you mean about tracking - my 1st and 2nd gears are useless at 10+psi. I even spin 3rd near the top in the dry when I punch it. I'm curious what you're putting down now - are you taking her the dyno again soon? Also has the knocking gone away?
Hehe I'm getting to the point where I'm really considering an LSD.

Ahh im dumb i meant traction...it was early and i believe there is like 100 other mistakes in there...
and i would LOVE to take it back but i cant fit 75 into the budget before i move...which sucks. Cause i would like to keep it on the same dyno...but no the knock is still there when its cold out...odd i have yet to up the ve table anymore as i just havent had time...i will try and do that tonight..only takes a second...
i have been having a issue with my #4 spark plug wire coming OUT...its pissing me off as soon as i smal it into second it come up out of the spark plug hole...im gonna check that plug and make sure its tight but i think the 200K mile original spark plug wires are prob giving up the ghost...so im buying these...

that is my point! i am building mine to be like a classic car. just drive around when i want. that is why its taking me 3 years this december to be building. yoru car is legit. the stock exterior is nice. im keeping the 323 as stock as possible for that reason. yeah i lowered it and did a lip kit but no body kit on it. daily driving the red car for 4 years kitted sucked at times. <--- some people didn't know that. yeah the red car was my DD bitchs!

Anyways i think prob your gonna wanna drive that damn thing more then a classic car, cause its gonna be sick but i could be wrong...i know that i wanna drive my car everyday but my gas mileage SUCKS. espec when i drive like i normally do...
and as far as body kits go..i dont like most of them, if they mode ONE i really liked i would most likely get it, but as of yet i havent found one i can constitute upgrading too...no offense to anyone, some cars they just dont fit on...it sucks that im not gonna see your car done since im moving and all, maybe ill come up next year for the corksport meet...we will see.

i dunno if i will have the copper car done by next year for CS. its alot of money and i am a very budget minded person. none of my car stuff going on credit cards. hence another reason its taking me 3 years so far.
as for the body kit i actually dislike my front bumper on the copper car and want to get a different one. so i will have to figure something out soon seems i want to get the cage and stuff painted. then get some touch up work done also. a few little things that bug me i need fixed or i will go nuts over.
