      that's a sweet idea! i had a push button the ol' EGT.

      what wires did you tap on the ignition to run the push button???

        I don't remember the color, but I disconnected the distributer, removed the steering column cover and probed (snickers to him self, probe) the 3 wires for the ignition switch and figured out what wire is for the starter signal wire, unplugged it from the connector, ran a wire from the 12+v wire at the ignition switch ran it to the the push botton than the other wire to the cut starter signal wire.

        If you do it like this than the key won't start the car and you still use the clutch safety switch.
