thanks for the replies about my ride, its just a beater....wink,wink. No but anyway I'm gonna try that VAF hybrid stuff on it tommorrow, and next week hopefully my bro will send out my NX import kit for me.

Btw the way here's some picures of my new lightened stock flywheel. Boy does she rev fast with 8lbs less of rotation weight. Still need a better clutch, i slip my stock replacement like no tommorrow.

8lbs is a really really high figure, I removed the back like you did to mine & it only came out to 2 pounds of metal.
what else did you lighten? why not put a dohc head on it?

crazy tiny car. crazy crazy tiny. I find the red underbody/interior distracting from the sleeper style primer exterior. I think it needs a rattlecan to fix that, don't want the cops tracking you!
doesn't the flywheel only weigh 18lbs? shaving 8lbs is losing half the flywheel. let us check mr. manual! oh wait, for some reason I can never find info about the flywheel in the fsm..wtf mate.
No car! I soldz it. Now I have a truck. I like it, but apparently it has a hard time keeping up with a slightly modified 4WD protege with half the hp. Neat.

I'm impressed. these festy's are coming out of the woodworks lately around here. good work man. I would suggest the dohc head swap and boost it. that would prolly bring you into the 13 sec traps seeing how light you are.

Yeah i do have plans for the dohc head swap, i wan't to stay with the fstiva tranny, but just get another clutch. As far as the flywheel I was talking about 8lbs off the original engine the BP01 came with...ithink they are 19 pounds. Your right the stock festiva flywheel is 18lbs and 7 lbs milled off of mine makes total weight of 11lb.

Yeah i agree the under coating of red does look tacky, and takes away from the sleeper look. Duplicolor bedliner paint is 7.99 a can. Thats what I'm spraying it with now.

I bet that thing moves pretty good even with the SOHC. If I didn't have my 323 I would be looking for a Festiva...but I wouldn't be able to drive it until I got the 121 front end, tail lights, and badges.

i've seen one festiva with a real foglight grill, I took 3 takes @ it before it passed me the opposite way.

If it wasn't for the bunk suspension Id sport a festiva around.
