    High Water!

    We've got a flood advisory warning in my area right now. Most of the main roads were washed out. It's pretty crazy.

    The first picture is my road. In the 21 years that I've lived on that road, water has never gone over it.

    The next few pictures are a road(or a river) close by.

    The next 5 pictures are of the road I work on. It will be closed for the next few days due to a landslide.

    The next picture is the local park.......the baseball field, skate park, tennis and basketball courts.......all under water.

    The next picture is a local plaza. It's all flooded and closed.

    The last picture the parking lot of a local apartment complex.

    I'm happy to be on high ground.

                  meh... just rig up a snorkle and make sure to keep your car on and you will handle it better than the trucks!

                  i like the pick with the 2 red dodges... the odds that when you took the picture that two of the same year, same color pickup trucks would be going through the same puddle... its REMARKABLE!

                        snorkel. I love long distance crazy rallies where you need a snorkle. porsche went crazy with their suv. snorkle, winch, stripped interior, roll cage, taller suspension. looks badass. not sure how well it'll perform, but it has that sweet 100-100% center diff shift like the STi.
                        No car! I soldz it. Now I have a truck. I like it, but apparently it has a hard time keeping up with a slightly modified 4WD protege with half the hp. Neat.

                              It rained around here(southern NY/ northern NJ) for 2 days straight pretty much. Think there was like 9 or 10inches or rain on sunday alone. Lots of places got flooded really bad and schools were closed. Its kind of crazy, lots of people trying to drive through the water and getting stuck, lots of people forced to leave there homes, I'm pretty sure a lot of places in nj have already contaced fema for help.
