          he did tell ya, it's a K series engine, probally a 2.5l KLZE with those numbers. 2.5l klde is what is found in the mx6, probe gt, and 626. the 1.8 k8 is what is found in the mx3 gs'es

            i am not suprise it's laying down those numbes, KLZE, 6 independent TB's, probly standalone. 7000 RPM thing would go through gas like a V8 tho.

                iirc it was a 1.8 block with ze head and intake manni. thats definetly a standalone system. let me see if i can find the link to the original thread.

                      maybe for the shorter stroke??? wouldn't a shorter stroke allow higher RPM's???
                      i know if you drop a big journal 327 crankshaft into a 350 block those things rev to moon (at least for a SBC obliviously).
