    My Miata owning an RX-8

OK ok, so the RX-8 is an auto...still, I put buses on it.

This was from Sunday, the local forum had a cruise up the scenic Route 3 River Road in Alton, Ill, up to Hardin and back down. Found a nice race spot and people raced each other for kicks.
I also raced a MazdaSpeed Miata and it was basically a tie both times. No video of that though.

    Mmmm supercharger whine...

Nice video and all but. This is what happens when you take a REAL sports car (RX7) and remove the turbo and in essence remove its balls! Nice kill regardless!
**SOLD** 93 EGT with more suspension mods then your average riced out civic's # of decals + useless "bling/style/culture" mods! **SOLD**
95 EGT New beater! And gawd damnit shes NOT pink!

        Thanks?

Nah, just a video showing A. What I look like when I'm "in the zone" and B. What my Miata sounds like with the supercharger.

I knew I'd beat the auto RX-8, but tieing a MazdaSpeed Miata was a bit of a surprise for me honestly. Them's high 14s territory. LOL

Those numbers are from a few months ago, from a Mustang dyno, from my Protege. I haven't had the chance to dyno the Miata yet, but I definately will whenever the local forum has another dyno day.

I hate those assholes who know the nearest track is 100 miles away. And feel compelled to bring up that a race is illegal.

Good kill, now time for smaller pulley!

i agree on the track being far away thing. there are two "nearby" me, but they are both about 100 miles in opposite directions. problem with that is, in order for me to comfortably race there i'd probably need to rent a truck and trailer in case i broke an axle or transmission or something. a 100 mile tow aint cheap...

sorry to interrupt your thread ryan, nice kill

Well he wasn't 100% smart and responsible but the dumb ricers are the problem not him. Doing 100+ on a highway with TONS of cars around jumping from lane to lane = ricer st00pid, etc etc. So don't give him too much crap!

Just for your info, I dyno'd a factory mazdaspeed miata today and it made 152hp at the wheels. Maybe gives you an idea of what you might be puting down
