I have the chance to get a pretty good lookin escort GT that has 250xxxkms on it, But the rear struts are Blown, Axles or Tie/ball joints are on the way out.. Body seems to be in decent shape by the lookin of the pictures, has foglights and all that, New clutch.. I have the option to buy it for $250, that is an older pic, it has been spraybombed black.. Would there be enough intrest and worth while to get it and part it out. I would be keepin Engine,Trans,Wiring harness and possibly foglights..
So Opions please.

Can't go wrong for that price. Just make it a side project or something. Fix up what rust damage it has and drive it!

sounds like you should buy it, and FIX IT. If it doesn't run, or has a slushbox, I'd think twice, but still. $250 for a car? its worth that in parts at the very least. IF it runs, its worth 4X that as a fixmeup or daily driver.

It runs, guy just told me it has a small oil leak ( easy Fix ) and waterpump is leakin a bit ( got a spare )
