Make sure engine is cool before starting to disassemble. Disconnect battery before starting this. Drain oil and change filter. Remove coolant fan. Remove exhaust header from car. Remove intake tubing. Remove oil pan. Clean up surfaces with old gaskets left on them. Use scotch brite pads and brake parts cleaner. These surfaces on the block and oil pan must be clean and clear of debris for a proper seal. Take oil pan and drill in spot provided on oil pan for oil return. Drill oil return into pan with a slight angle pointing downwards. Refer to pic to understand angle. I used a half inch brass fitting found at a hardware store. The thread is 3/8-18. I borrowed a tapp from work as some tapps are expensive to buy. clear drill a 9/16 hole in spot provided for oil drain. Tapp 9/16 hole and put fitting in with thread tape. Clean up all chips and oil pan out. Apply new gaskets to oil pan with sealant provided and spread sealant on block evenly around bolt holes, pan to block surface and gasket to block surface. Place oil pan back on block and tighten bolts to torque specs. remove alternator bracket and bolts that hold top half of intake manifold to the bottom half. Remove top bolts to intake manifold and remove top half of intake manifold. remove fuel rail and unplug old injectors and plug in new injectors. I suggest getting new o rings grommets and insulators for your injectors. Install fuel rail with new injectors and put top half of intake manifold back on. Remove coolant feed bolt from the block. Install coolant nipple. Remove oil feed bolt from the block. Make sure turbo manifold and turbo are assembled together before installing. Install turbocharger unit to the exhaust ports. Run oil feed line to the oil feed with the oil banjo bolt. Put a copper crush washer on both sides of the oil feed line and tighten. Run coolant feed line from turbo to coolant nipple on block. Make sure you clamp all connections with hose clamps. Run oil drain hose from oil drain on turbo to brass oil drain fitting on oil pan. Use hose clamps. Run coolant return line to coolant hose under throttle body. Use a T fitting to splice into hose. Clamp off all hose connections. Run wastegate hose to the charge side of the intercooler piping, the closer to the compressor the better. Clamp off connections. Remove tow hooks as they get in the way of piping for intercooler. Mount intercooler and run piping to the intercooler and throttle body and intake tube. You will probably need a shop to make you as downpipe to your catback. Put bolts back into lower intake manifold and put alternator bracket back on. Put oil drain plug back in. Put oil in engine. reconnect the battery. Take spark plugs out of head and turn motor over to eed oil to turbo without turbine spinning. You can use your regular plugs but you should upgrade to NGKBRK7E plugs part number 6097 at most autoparts stores. Make sure your plugs are gapped to .030-.035. reinstall plugs. Unplug battery and go inside car and turn the key to decharge the system. After that go under behind radio and HVAC controls to take out the ecu. Its held in by 3 bolts. 2 you have to take out on the right side and one on the left side you just have to loosen. Plug in new ecu. Reconnect battery and start car. Make sure car is running right and put back together interior. Top off coolant cause some is lost when you remove the feed bolt. Fill car up with premium gas and have fun. I am in no way responsible for things that went wrong with your car as this is for educational purposes only.
