I believe the gtx motor was a small nose so you'd be ok to grab a pulley off a escort gt 91-94 I believe. Someone correct me if I'm wrong

did it instantly go up? or did it slowly go up as the car warmed up?

if its the first one maybe check the connect @ the coolant sending unit. Or maybe it's gone bad...do you have your old one?

if it slowly went up, then i would check for any kinked, or collapsed hoses, might be air pockets or a faulty rad cap causing insufficient system pressure...

                check those first imo

The 1 on the thermostat housing controls the fans. The 1 under that towards the back a little(green connector) might be the bad 1. I believe that's for the gauge. There's also 1 in the front of the motor close to thr disty. Can't remember what that 1 does

well i solved the temp gauge issue turns out i had some wires switched but now when i push the throttle down it cuts out at 5500 rpm sounds like its hitting fuel cut also i have not yet put premum fuel in it yet could that be the issue?

did you swap the 2 pins around for the bp26 ecu? i believe that may be your issue!

aftermarket oil pressure sending unit for a gauge replaces your factory one
