Interior is in really good condition for such an old car. Body isn't that great but not rusty.

This thing will haul 99 kinds of a$$. The PO was really eager to trade. Got on the interstate and the front drivers wheel bearing is talking to me. He must've thought it was the trans on the way out. Anyhow, I'm happy with it. Feels good to be back in boost, and diesel boost is totally different.

I wouldn't have traded a limited edition lightning for that. That's just me though.it just seams like trading a cobra for a z28. As long as you're happy though that's all that matters . Becareful of headgasket failure on that motor.

I would rock that. Those things can be SUPER quick!!! But yeah I would have gone with a STI or something over that.... I guess it matters how much your lightning was worth, but looks like a good build list. And if you need a custom tranny there are tons out there.

I have that same car, but stock non-turbo. At least it has the 4g in it, lol. I may be hitting you up for some help in the future.

It's got a sheperd trans, so it shouldn't blow. I'm not gonna beat the ever living hell out of it either. This isn't my first DSM, actually #3. All of which have been AWD, including this one. I also have a few Starion/Conquest's and two Montero's. Mitsubishi is no stranger in my garage. Ya it's lacking in the looks department but I've got a white parts car to remedy that. No HP/Dyno numbers yet. The BOV is leaking under boost and there's an AEM EMS sitting on the shelf in my garage from a previous DSM waiting to go in. Got a forced performance fp3575 turbo and cast manifold on order as well. After I get everything in and installed, it'll go on the dyno. Gonna do all that when the KLZE-->Escort Lxe swap is finished, lol.

My lightning was a 95 in really good shape and stock. 1Gen Lightnings aren't bringing very much at this time, about 4500. Mine was a stolen recovery (no damage...stupid insurance company) so it had a rebuilt title, lessening the value to 3000 on the high side.

cool car. my first boosted car that i got to drive and work on was a eagle talon tsi, and it was a blast in the winter. i'd love to pick up another DSM just for winter time driving.

7 bolt has crank walk probs but 6 bolt should b no problem
